About FIBA 3×3
An exciting, urban and innovative format, 3×3 is inspired by several forms of streetball played worldwide and is considered the world’s number one urban team sport. The 3×3 format was first played successfully in an international arena at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore and since then has garnered interests and kick-started the annual city-based FIBA 3×3 World Tour.
Steered by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the 3×3 games see two teams of three players on each side face off on a half basketball court. The FIBA 3×3 events are played on sports court floors with Schelde backstops and use Wilson’s innovative and specially-engineered balls for 3×3 events.
